Programming & events
My passion to produce public programs and activate spaces has spanned well over 10 years. During that time I have served as the Director of Public Programs for Madison Square Park Conversancy and am on the Board of Trustees for Astoria Park Alliance. I have forged valuable relationships with vendors and sponsors, including SONY, Credit Suisse Foundation, LEGO, Eataly, NY Life Insurance, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, and Taste of Home. I have programmed music, art, family and horticulture events with budgets ranging from $10,000-$500,000. Whether it is city permits or booking talent, I oversee every detail of a program and I would never approach an event any other way. Every event is special and offers a new opportunity to do something exciting, inclusive and engaging. My motto: the smallest details of an event make or break it so there is no such thing as “over-thinking it”.
Fundraising
Anything that benefits the community needs capital behind it. From artists to vendors, programs cost money to produce, and I’m well versed in raising the capital to put these programs in motion. I have experience in grant writing, fundraising events, and sponsorship acquisition.
Large-Scale Event
Planning & Management
Responsible for $500K budgets to produce programming which includes music, art, family and horticulture events. Directly accountable for all logistics for events, including complex city permitting, day-of operations, hiring of security, as well as talent and crew management.
Data-driven
Strategic Planning
Deep knowledge of analyzing data, collaboration with community stakeholders, trustees and consultants to build strategic planning which best serves the ever changing needs of the NYC community. This kind of strategic planning has provided immensely valuable data to tailor the programming to any given community.
Performance Curation & Cultural Programming
Produced and curated multiple concert series with every artist and act hand-picked to best engage the community of all ages. Some of these events are complimentary performances to larger events; the utmost of care, research and consideration went into booking the best performers to make the event as entertaining as possible.
