Family programs

I am proud to produce events and programs that are exploratory and imaginative to New York City families. Family programming means that you need a fundamental understanding of what will engage the grown-ups just as much as the children. If I can get a grown-up dancing at a children’s concert or a grown-up engaged in an art tour, then I believe that’s a solid measure of success.

One of the most successful family programs that I produced started with a request from a local mom’s group asking for a safe greenspace for their toddlers to play. I started a program called “Family Lawn” and I placed 20 toy lawn mowers on the lawn each morning. Children of all ages would get so much energy out with those mowers, and families felt safe with a dedicated space to freely allow their children to play. Passersby would always stop and smile when they witnessed the free-play moment.
